Measles, mumps and rubella (MMR)

Three acute, contagious viral infections transmitted via person-to-person contact and airborne spread can be prevented using a combined vaccine. These infections spread easily between people and can lead to serious complications including meningitis, blindness and hearing loss.

Measles, mumps and rubella can be prevented by having the MMR vaccine.
