Hay fever is an allergic reaction to pollen that causes symptoms of sneezing, a runny or blocked nose, and itchy, watery eyes. It is also known as allergic rhinitis and can be managed with antihistamines, nasal sprays, and eye drops, along with preventative measures like staying indoors on high pollen count days and wearing wrap-around sunglasses.
