Fungal Infections
Fungal Infections
Fungal infections can appear as itchy, scaly rashes, and common examples include ringworm, athlete’s foot, and jock itch, in your mouth as oral thrush, or on your genitals as thrush. Symptoms vary by type and location but often present as red, scaly patches that can be dry or flaky; sometimes the rash has a ring-like shape. Treatment depends on the infection and can include over-the-counter topical creams, gels, capsules, and pessaries.
At Fordingbridge Chemist a range of different antifungal treatments are available, please ask our team for advice. Some creams are better value on PGD, complete a short health consultation and we can dispense your medication without you needing to see your GP.
